This beautiful family book an extra special extended family sunrise photography session on Jekyll Island, Georgia. And yes, that's is 100% correct, they all made it to the beach before the first rays of light! You can see there were a few faces who weren't so keen on the early session, but by the end we had big smiles and gorgeous skies! Worth it!
Beach Vacay on Jekyll Island
This family loves to meet and spend time together on Jekyll Island, their "home away from home". The granddaughter, Madison, is a mother herself now, felt it was important to capture the bonds between the entire family, at this special moment in their lives. As an extended family, they love the vacation rental on Jekyll Island they've chosen to book, it's just a short walk from the beach but out of the way of the busier areas of the island. The beach is really at the heart of this family, they come every year for a visit.
Sunrise over the Golden Isles
Shooting at sunrise just hits differently. The beauty of the sand, the gorgeous yellow and pink colors that are so delicious, sometimes it's hard to tell where water meets the sky. It might not be everyone's cup of tea (or coffee for that matter), but waking up a little early on your vacation is definitely worth it, in my book to catch such epic views of the beautiful Georgia coastline!
