Clam Creek on Jekyll Island provided the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable moment. Surrounded by marsh views, live oaks, and the natural beauty that makes Jekyll Island such a special destination, Justin got down on one knee and asked Caitlin to spend forever with him.

Simple and Lovely, make the best engagement locations

During Justin and Caitlin's Design Consultation—a video call I schedule with each client to help plan the details of their session—we talked through several possible locations for the proposal, but Clam Creek on Jekyll Island quickly rose to the top of the list. With its peaceful marsh views, winding trails, and natural coastal beauty, it provided the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful moment. After Justin got down on one knee and Caitlin said yes, we spent time exploring the area together and creating engagement portraits to celebrate this exciting new chapter. Their proposal at Clam Creek was a beautiful reminder that some of life's most meaningful moments don't need anything extravagant—just the right person, a beautiful place, and a moment worth remembering forever.
