This had been an epic February Valentine's giveaway featuring Cheeseboard Babes, Picnic Culture SSI, Small Cakes SSI, and myself, Lindy Rebro Photo. It had been a challenge to get so many people wrangled together for the session, plus the winner. We thought we had the perfect day - everyone was available and the weather was beautiful for a February day. Once I drove through SSI there was trouble, a mass of clouds had lowered right onto the island and visibility was limited. Since the picnic had been set up we rolled with it. I managed to capture Natasha, owner of Picnic Culture SSI and her sister Fatima, owner of Cheeseboard Babes, before the giveaway winner arrived!
When Giveaway winner Ally Moline, her husband Chris, and their two children arrived, the clouds were thicker than ever, but that didn't stop them from enjoying their time frolicking on the beach, playing corn hole, eating cupcakes and smiling for photographs! Everyone, including the Moline family were so gracious even if the weather was less than perfect. Life is about enjoy the picnic - even if it rains (or clouds drop right onto your day)! I hope you enjoy this unique picnic session on our little Saint Simons Island, beautiful in a different way in February.
