Planning For Forever
Christian reached out to me, hoping to book a photographer to document him proposing to his girlfriend, Caroline. He knew he wanted to pop the question on Saint Simon's Island, GA and that it had to be a surprise! We communicated back and forth until we nailed the exact location and time the big moment was to happen. We chose a beachy spot near the heart of Saint Simon's, a bit out of the way of the busiest hubs.
The couple arrived at the planned meeting spot and I hid out of eyesight behind a palmetto - praying silently they would not notice me. Christian had brought a little champagne picnic for them to enjoy, he gave the signal - a HUGE hug, where he positioned Caroline, and then sank down to one knee to ask his beloved the most important question!
Starry-eyed
With tears in both of their eyes, Caroline said "YES!" I jumped out from my hiding place, hastily introduced myself, and set to work to document the sheer joy the couple was feeling about their life changing decision. Their first of many big decisions to come!
Sweet Surprises
Caroline wanted to wear a very specific green floral dress when she was proposed to, so as you can see, she miiiiight have suspected something was going on because she chose to wear that said dress! But when she turned around and noticed their family and friends walking towards them, Christian definitely got in a few surprises she hadn't suspected!
