Brunswick = Potential

Brunswick is usually looked over in favor for more popular Jekyll Island, Sea Island, or Saint Simons Island but this diamond in the rough has a lot to offer as far as photography locations go! Let me give you my top spots to capture portraits in one of my favorite towns.

Neighborhood block Parks

Did you think this image was Savannah or maybe Charleston? Let me tell ya, Brunswick, GA neighborhood parks have it going on! Situated in the historical part of Brunswick, you don't have to drive far to find a beautiful brick path, water fountain or sunny bench to complete your family, engagement or branding session! Head down Newcastle Street and follow the many signs to find a park that suits your needs.

Liberty Ship Park

Also known as Sidney Lanier Park or the "Bridge Park" in the city of Brunswick. This park is amazing location to take photos, you've got the well-known Sidney Lanier Bridge in the background, water, even a white sandy beach!

At sunset or sunrise you've got the best of all things that make coastal Georgia the show stopper that it is! It is easy to access, has ample amount of parking, bathrooms, it's a great spot for photos!

Port side in Port City

We call Brunswick, GA "Port City" for a reason! Believe it or not, Brunswick has some amazing views of the water. Visit Mary Ross Waterfront Park, the Veterans Park or Sheldon Park to find some stunning views of the water, bridge and sand!

Historic Brunswick Courthouse

There are two courthouses in Brunswick, and while either are beautiful, I usually get requests to shoot at the historical courthouse, known as the Glynn County Probate Courthouse if you search on your gps.

It's ideal for elopements or any type of portrait session. There's architectural points of interests of the buildings, giant live oak trees and all the Spanish moss you could ever want!

Downtown

Don't get me wrong, I love being by the water or among the trees but sometimes you need something new to shake things up!  I love finding locations like this parking lot because the client was going for a more edgy vibe right in downtown Brunswick, GA!

If you go down any number of alley ways in the downtown district you'll be met with brick, stucco, a large variety of colorfully painted buildings. Plenty of different backdrops to make your session take a new direction.
