Cancer battle portrait Session in Lynden, WA

Sometime I struggle with occasionally is the weight of photography. Photography isn't just clicking a button. I document a moment, a moment that passes us by quickly. Some moments are joyful. Other moments are so dang hard. This was a hard one. This is Becky and her family, they wanted to pay a special tribute to her and showcase her hair, which is her pride and joy about a week or so before she started chemotherapy. We chose The Vine NW Studio in downtown Lynden, WA.
