Anchored with love
Some sessions are about more than just photos—they’re about preserving love, connection, and the fleeting moments we wish could last forever.
This particular afternoon at the St. Simons Marina was one of those sessions that leave a heart print, one I'll never forget.
The family reached out to me with a simple but deeply meaningful request: to document remaining time spent with their father and grandfather, whose health was declining. He had spent years out on the water, his boat tied at this very dock, and the thought of capturing him here—fishing, laughing, and being with the people who love him —felt like the most perfect way to honor his life!

A place of Memories
Between quiet conversations and shared smiles, there were moments that I knew would be cherished long after this specific day had passed. The way he gently guided his granddaughter as she reeled in the line, the familiar twinkle in his eyes when his daughter cracked a joke and the warmth of a family simply being together, knowing these moments were a gift to be held.

Holding on to Legacy
From a famous movie that's one of my all time favorites, "Life moves pretty fast..if you don't stop and take a look around once in awhile, you could miss it." Isn't that the truth! Life moves too quickly, but photographs have a way of keeping us close, no matter how much time passes! The family ordered prints and a special customized box to hold the images, their plan to pull them out, frame some but be able to look on them with love.
This is why I do what I do—not just to take photos, but to help people hold onto love, to freeze time for just a little while longer. Because some memories deserve to be more than just a story; they deserve to be seen, felt, and remembered forever!
If you’ve ever thought about capturing the moments that mean the most, don’t wait.
